SHAG HARBOUR UFO XPO

Each year, close to the October 4th anniversary of the Shag Harbour crash, the Shag Harbour UFO Incident Society hosts the annual Shag Harbour UFO XPO – a gathering that brings researchers, authors, experiencers and enthusiasts together to explore the latest findings, stories and theories surrounding the UAP phenomenon.

Why people are drawn to the XPO

A sense of belonging – Whether someone is a long‑time enthusiast or newly curious, the XPO offers a place where questions, wonder and open‑minded discussion are encouraged.

A rare chance to hear firsthand accounts – Attendees can listen to experiencers share their stories in a respectful, open environment.

Access to leading voices in the field – Researchers and authors present new investigations, historical insights and emerging theories.

Community and connection – People who are curious about the phenomenon, or who have had their own experiences, find a welcoming space to learn and connect.

A deeper understanding of the Shag Harbour Incident – The event highlights Canada’s most famous UFO case and its ongoing significance.

EXPERIENCER MEETUPS

Volunteers travel across the province to host welcoming spaces where UFO and UAP experiencers can share what they’ve seen or lived through. Many people don’t have a safe place to talk about these moments and carrying those stories alone can feel isolating. Our meetups offer a respectful, inclusive and supportive environment where people can speak openly, listen to others and feel understood.

Meetups are announced on our Facebook page, where dates, locations and updates are posted regularly.

Why people come to these meetups

  • A judgment‑free space – Participants know they won’t be dismissed, mocked or pressured to explain their experience away.
  • Connection with others – Hearing similar stories helps people realize they’re not alone and that their experience fits within a broader community.
  • Emotional support – Sharing can be grounding and validating, especially for those who have held their story privately for years.
  • Learning and curiosity – Attendees often gain new perspectives, resources and insights from others’ experiences.
  • Community building – These gatherings help strengthen a province‑wide network of people who care about the phenomenon and each other.
