The Shag Harbour Incident Interpretive Centre, set in the coastal fishing village of Shag Harbour on Nova Scotia’s South Shore, tells the story of the 1967 UFO sighting and the mysterious object that plunged into the harbour, leaving behind only a trail of yellow foam.
Visitors can explore television documentaries, historic newspaper coverage, memorabilia, and witness stories. After touring the Centre, guests are welcome to browse the gift shop. Just a few minutes up the road, the UFO Gazebo and picnic site offer a clear view of the exact location where the object was seen entering the water in 1967.
